Call Forwarding

Call Forwarding is an option to divert calls to an alternative phone number when the current receiving line is unavailable. Configure it easily in just a minute!

How to Configure Call Forwarding

  1. Expand “Value Added” on your left and select Call Forwarding.
  2. Select the number from the drop-down menu.
  3. Ensure Enable Call Forwarding is checked. If it is not, check the box manually.
  4. Enter the phone number where the call will be forwarded to using the format: 00 + Country Code + Area Code + Phone No.
  5. Click the Submit button to save your settings.

Using AlienVoIP with Yeastar/MyPBX

Set up a SIP trunk with AlienVoIP on your Yeastar/MyPBX IP PBX to enjoy cheaper calls to the PSTN network. Follow the steps below to get started.

Setup Instructions

If you own a Yeastar/MyPBX IP PBX, follow these steps to configure a SIP trunk with AlienVoIP. Ensure that you are registered with AlienVoIP, your account is activated with credits, and you have at least one SIP username.

Step 1

Log in to your Yeastar/MyPBX.

Step 2

Create a SIP trunk registered to AlienVoIP:

  • Click on “Trunks” on the side bar.
  • Click the “Add VoIP Trunks” button. A popup will appear to collect SIP trunk information.
  • Fill in the necessary information using your SIP username and password. (Available in your member account.)
  • Save the configuration.

Step 3

Create outbound routes to route outgoing calls to the AlienVoIP SIP trunk:

  • Click on “Outbound Routes”.
  • Name your route and fill in a dial pattern. Use “X.” to match any dial sequence.
  • Select member extensions to be routed through this configuration.
  • Choose the trunk to handle outgoing calls.
  • Save the configuration.

Once all configurations are complete, your server is ready to make calls through AlienVoIP. Contact our support team if you need assistance.
